Once you hold a residence visa through your DMCC company, you can bring your family to Dubai on a DMCC family visa. The sponsorship is filed through DMCC, but the paperwork that slows families down is usually outside DMCC: attested marriage and birth certificates, salary proof and medicals. Our PRO team prepares all of it so the application goes through first time.
Who you can sponsor
Spouse
Wife or husband, with an attested marriage certificate.
Children
Sons and daughters, with attested birth certificates. Age and gender rules apply for older children.
Parents
Parents or parents-in-law, subject to a higher salary threshold and a security deposit.
Eligibility: what immigration checks
- Your own valid DMCC residence visa as the sponsor
- Salary above the immigration minimum for the family member. For a spouse and children this is commonly AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 with company-provided accommodation; parents need a considerably higher salary.
- Suitable accommodation, usually shown through a tenancy contract
- Health insurance for each dependant
Salary thresholds and conditions are set by Dubai immigration and have changed several times over the years, and special rules apply when a mother sponsors her children. We confirm the current requirement for your exact family before any fee is paid.

Keep it in step with your own visa
Dependants' visas depend on yours. Renew them together using our DMCC visa renewal service, and if you ever leave the company, dependants must be cancelled or moved before your own visa cancellation. A transfer between Dubai free zones does not affect them.

Can I sponsor my family with a DMCC visa?
Yes. A DMCC owner or employee with a valid residence visa can sponsor a spouse, children and, subject to higher requirements, parents, as long as salary, accommodation and insurance conditions are met.
What salary do I need to sponsor my wife on a DMCC visa?
Dubai immigration commonly requires AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 with company-provided accommodation, for a spouse and children. Requirements change, so we confirm the current figure before you apply.
Can I sponsor my parents in DMCC?
Yes, but parents need a considerably higher salary, accommodation and usually a refundable security deposit. We check your eligibility first.
Do marriage and birth certificates need attestation?
Yes. Certificates issued abroad must be attested by the UAE embassy in the issuing country and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
What happens to my family's visas if I change jobs?
If you transfer between Dubai free zones, your dependants are not affected. If your visa is cancelled, their visas must be cancelled or transferred to a new sponsor first.
